Read a Book Monday: “Deeper Waters, Immensed in the Life Changing Truth of God’s Word” by Denise Hughes

Have you ever read a book that touched your heart and mind? It felt like the book was written just to help you and transform your life? Me, too! That was what happened when I read “Deeper Waters – Immersed in the Life-Changing Truth of God’s Word” written by Denise Hughes. This phenomenal paperback published by IMG_5403Harvest House hits the streets September 1st. It is 242 pages of wealth on digging deeper into God’s Word and Voice.  Pre-purchase it and receive a free book along with it.

Divided into four parts and followed with an Epilogue, author Hughes starts her book with “The Voice We Hear” and I am immediately hooked. Who wouldn’t be? Not only a Christian Living book, this turned out to be a Bible Study and partial Memoir. The author is transparent in her book and shares with readers the personal and heart-stirring story of what brought her to God’s Word. She reveals her struggles, trials and triumphs making her relatable. By the end of the book I felt like I had a new friend and (much younger) mentor.  She helped me when I didn’t realized I needed help.

I enjoyed her writing style and insights very much. It was easy to read and understand while being thought provoking at the same time. This book is well organized, well thought, and well written. Most of all it is God glorifying and helps each reader with her Christian Walk and reading God’s precious Word. The author’s love and joy for God is contagious just by reading her powerful words.  She has a passion for God and wants to share it.

“Deeper Waters” is a Book for those wanting to dig deeper and not just skim the surface of God’s Word. Her suggestion for anyone and everyone, whether a seasoned IMG_5402bible reader or novice just beginning, is to read, write, and pray God’s Word. No typing. Write it with your hand on paper so that it stays with you.  She has a variety of things to share to enlighten and encourage.  There is much more packed into this impactful jewel.

I definitely recommend this wonderful book. It will make you delve deeper into the Bible and strengthen your relationship with God. You will find yourself looking deep into yourself, also. “Where do you feel most comfortable? Where is your place to read your Bible and connect with God? Do you really, really know you can bring everything to God?” This is a great readers group or bible study book. It has so much to think on and discuss. Buy a copy for yourself and a friend. You will want to discuss it and how it impacts your life. It gets a 5 star IMG_5399recommendation.

Read a Book Monday: “My Heart Belongs in Ruby City, Idaho: Rebecca’s Plight” by Susanne Dietze

Isn’t it nice when you try something new and really like it?  That happened to me recently with an author I had never read.  “My Heart Belongs in Ruby City, Idaho, Rebecca’s Plight” by author Susanne Dietze was a great find for this reader. This historical Christian romance is a 256 page paperback published by Barbour. It is has twists, turns, adventure, inspiration, humor, and much more to capture your attention and not release it until the last page.

This is the tale of mail order bride Rebecca Rice and her husband to be, Theodore (or so she thinks). The setting is the Idaho Territory in 1866, just after the Civil War. Rebecca sets off to marry shopkeeper, Theodore, and ends up marrying Lawman Thaddeus (Tad). The real shopkeeper wants his mail order bride. The chemistry between Rebecca and Tad builds. She begins to question her plans versus God’s plans for her. It is a wonderfully told story that you will enjoy immensely.

Author Dietze is new to me as this is the first book of hers I have read. Her writing style is very good. The storyline was well thought, planned, and researched. I had no trouble following it and it definitely held my interest. The author’s main and secondary characters were well rounded right down to their faults and colorful personalities. I felt like I had made some new friends with some while others not so much. The conversations and dialogue flowed smoothly and never seemed choppy. Best of all the author added inspirational messages on topics that are relevant today such as dealing with lacking or wavering faith and trust in God, helping others, showing not just receiving grace, resilience, and withstanding tough times. There are twists, adventure, romance, history, suspense, humor, and inspiration. This book has it all.

This would be a great book for anyone that enjoys Christian romantic fiction, historical or Westerns. I would definitely recommend it.  Having it read in a reading group or by few friends would be good.  I wanted to discuss it with someone.  It was nice to get lost in this page turning novel. I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

Read a Book, Garden, and Cook: Amish Friends Harvest Cookbook by Wanda Brunstetter is Wonderful with Peach Pie Recipe

Do you like to cook?  How about garden?  What about reading a cookbook that has gardening tips, cooking tips, and Amish information.  There really is a book like that out there.  Wanda Brunstetter’s Amish Friends Harvest Cookbook is by far my favorite of all of her Amish cookbooks. However, I do love them all and her books. The cover of the book says : “Over 240 recipes for using and preserving the bounty of the land” and shows fresh produce, canned, and Amish at work. It is a delightful, eye catching cover. The cookbook itself is spiral which makes it easy to use. It will open flat for easy reading when using. Sprinkled with pictures, scripture and tips this cookbook is a treasure.IMG_3797

Divided into seven recipe sections, the book begins with a chapter entitled “Reflections on the Amish Family Garden”. This is like having a chat with an Amish friend about gardening. Next is a chapter “Advice from Amish Gardeners,” which I found very interesting. Egg shell booster, when to plant, how to fertilize and with what, and how to block weeds are a few of the many tips given. Then it discusses how to deal with garden bugs, diseases, harvesting, and how to take care of yourself. There are remedies for poison ivy, sore throats, sunburns, and others. So much information and we haven’t even gotten to a recipe yet.

The recipes are divided into the usual categories: salads, soups, main dishes, sides, desserts, snacks and extras, ending with preserving the harvest. An index of the Amish contributors is next, an index of recipes by section, and finally an index by key ingredients. You should be able to easily find recipes using one of these.

I found this to be a treasure trove of recipes. Some were extremely different like “Dandelion Gravy” or “Green Tomato Bars” made with finely chopped green tomatoes and blueberries. Others were familiar such as “Seasoned Potato Wedges,” “Zucchini Bars,” or “Fresh Peach Pie” and sounded like I needed to try that recipe now. (Too bad I had no peaches.) See what you think:IMG_3999

Author Brunstetter has put together a great cookbook. If you are a novice cook or chef, master gardener of acres or container deck gardener, you will enjoy all 208 pages of this fantastic book. The pictures are beautiful, the recipes delicious and tips helpful. There happen to be 243 recipes and 62 garden tips from over 150 contributors in this book. It will make you want to garden and cook.IMG_3798

I thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a book and would highly recommend it. It is certainly up there on my gift giving list. For a shower, birthday, new home, or Christmas this would be a perfect gift. Are you in a cooking or garden club? This book is for you.   This is definitely a buy one for a gift and one for yourself cookbook. I rated it 5 out of 5 stars but would love to rate it higher.   Yes, it’s that good!

“There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God”. Ecc. 2:24

Read a Book Monday: “The Blessing, Amish Cooking Class Book 2” by Wanda Brunstetter

I am a fan of Amish books. Their lifestyle intrigues me. Wanda Brunstetter is one of my favorite authors of Amish fiction among other books. She has done Amish cookbooks that are wonderful. Her newest book “The Blessing” is Book Two in her series “The Amish Cooking Class. This 308 page paperback is a Contemporary Christian with Amish and cooking novel. If you like any of the above this is the book for you. It is Book Two but could be read as a stand alone.

Book One in this series was so good I anticipated really liking Book Two, but I never expected to love it more than I did the first one. Author Brunstetter has a way of storytelling that gets my attention and keeps it. I love how she uses Amish (Pennsylvania Deutch) words. After reading so many Amish novels I have even learned some myself. Her descriptions are so realistic I can almost smell the pumpkin cookies baking and taste the hot apple cider. She takes me to Amish Country.

“The Blessing” continues the story of Amish couple Heidi and Lyle Troler. Heidi continues her Amish Cooking Class with new students. Each student brings a unique and interesting story. The students are not Amish so a lot of the story is set in the “English” world. It is a good mix of men and women, young and old.

Brunstetter tackles a lot of issues in this novel. Things that a lot of people struggle with are touched upon such as stress, adoption, fostering, priorities, family, divorce, alcoholism, forgiveness, redemption, and being unequally yoked in a marriage. Seldom do we read about the latter, but it is in scripture and so important. In this enthralling story are insight and encouragement for some of life’s issues. Scripture is heavily sprinkled throughout the book. This is what I look for in a Christian novel – one that inspires according to the Bible.

After the page turning, stay up all night reading it story there are the six recipes from Heidi’s cooking classes. Apple Cornbread is the one I am eager to try. It is one that sounds so different. Following the recipes are fifteen discussion questions. This helps delve deeper into the story and our own lives.

I loved “The Blessing” and would definitely recommend it to anyone. You do not have to like Amish fiction to enjoy this book, but if you do it is an added bonus. There is so much packed into the pages of this inspiring book. You will want to share it with a friend. It would make a great gift or book club read. If you like to cook you will enjoy it. Definitely a 5 out of 5 star rating from me.I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

Read a Book Monday: “Uncommon: Pursuing a Life of Passion and Purpose” by Carey Scott

This Christian women’s book’s back cover says it is “a battle cry for women to step out of the ordinary and live differently. It’s a blueprint for a life full of passion and purpose. And it has the power to change everything.” Did that get your attention? It certainly got mine. So I decided I needed to read this book and see if it would deliver on its promise. The answer is yes, and much more.

“Uncommon: Pursuing a Life of Passion and Purpose” by Author Carey Scott is a 244 page paperback book published July 1, 2017 from Barbour Publishing, Inc. This nineteen chapter book is geared toward young women, but ladies of any age will glean something from it. “Uncommon” is an encouraging and delightful book. It is excellently written. Chapters focus on courage, faith, forgiveness, generosity, kindness, love, obedience, prayer, morality, and why the world needs you to be uncommon (my favorite one of the nineteen), among others. Subjects are all interesting, relevant, and things Christian women need in their lives. The author wants to teach young women to stand out in faith. Be uncommon, live life differently is the author’s theme. She wants readers to cease worrying about what others think.

Scripture is heavily laced throughout this inspiring book. Beginning each chapter is a Bible verse relating to the topic followed by explanation and a lesson. Examples of biblical women and their stories are next followed by “Lean into Him (scripture), Look into you (questions), and Live Uncommon (prayer)”. This helps to dig deeper and really learn. In the Kindness chapter one question is “Are you a kind person for the right reason?” The questions are meant to do some soul searching. The author encourages readers to praise and worship God. She also states the need for prayer and how essential prayer time is. Every chapter is a positive reenforcement for readers of something we should know but may have forgotten because of how busy life has gotten.

Uncommon is a well written, organized, and well researched book. The chapters are easy to follow. The author has a nice style of writing. It is almost as if she is sitting chatting with readers. Women will find it relatable and inspiring. It definitely was written to bring women closer to God and glorify Him. Using personal stories, scripture, humor, and encouragement, Author Scott teaches women how to stand apart from this world and live for God. In her last chapter she even briefly discusses the mess Americans have made of their relationships during and after the election. That issue is heavy on my heart. She states “Even now, several weeks after the election, we are still screaming at one another.”

“Uncommon: Pursuing a Life of Passion and Purpose” is a book that every woman will enjoy reading and should read. It provides information that is biblically based that encourages us to help others, forgive, be kind evangelize, and worship. It is a wonderful book for any woman, woman’s group, or church library. I highly recommend it and give it a 5 star rating. I received a copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”  Matt. 5:14-16  NKJV

Read a Book Monday: “A Love So True” by Melissa Jagears

Do you enjoy reading? I do. Give me a good book and sip of hot tea or coffee, and I am perfectly content. Well, depending upon the book, right? I never need worry about that with author Melissa Jagears.  She is a fabulous Christian fiction author.  Each book she writes is another great one that will brings enjoyment, contentment, entertainment, and best of all inspiration.  They have all been page turning, hard to put down novels.

“A Love So True” by author Melissa Jagears is Book 2 in her Teaville Moral Society Series. This paperback by Bethany House Publishing House is 358 pages of inspirational Christian fiction. Even though this is book two, it can easily be read as a standalone book. This is a compelling, page turning, hard to put down book, which is the only kind author Jagears knows how to write.

Jagears does another exceptional job as she takes us back to Teaville where we are reacquainted with old friends and make new ones. This is the story of Evelyn Wisely who helps the town’s orphans. She has a heart for others and works with her parents at the orphanage. Miss Evelyn is a unique character who happens to be tall. She also has a secret. It is also the tale of David Kingsman. He has recently moved to Teaville for business. Evelyn catches his eye as do the children and their mission for help. David wants to help, too. This character is also unique and absolutely adorable. He has a good heart and a secret, too. Together they work to help women and children find ways out of the poverty and wretchedness of prostitution. It isn’t an easy task. Evelyn wants to build a women’s shelter but isn’t getting support from the town businessmen.

This story, set in 1908, is filled with inspirational lessons. It shows a different side of the “red light” districts. Many things are brought to light that may not be known. Some women and children are forced into this horrible way of life. Many or most people look down upon them. Very few want to help, but what would Jesus do? As Christians we are called to love, serve and help others. Author Jagears puts this into a beautifully moving story. I love her style of writing. The descriptions take me away to Teaville. I become friends with her wonderful characters. They are rich, full, and lively. Well rounded and full of drama the story and characters come to life on her pages. The dialog is smooth and effortlessly written. It’s like listening in on a conversation. Jagears puts twists and turns in her encouraging, God glorifying novel. Scripture is sprinkled throughout the book.  Again, this is not Christian fluff, but some hardy Christian fiction to chew on. It sticks with you.

Jagears takes on various topics and issues, such as sin, deceit, secrets, prayer, judging, trusting God, helping others, society, morality, suicide, and love. The book is well written, researched, and organized. It has humor, inspiration, mystery, adventure, romance, and history. There are no study questions at the end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys Christian fiction, any book clubs or church groups, or historical fiction lovers. I gladly rated it 5 out of 5 stars. A copy was provided from the author and publisher but this is my own, honest review.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”  Col. 3:23-24  NIV

Have you heard of the Shakers? They were a religious sect in Kentucky a couple of hours from where I live. Appropriately named Shaker Village is still there today offering historical tours and insight into this unique way of life. This is far different than Amish. They are set apart from the world but in a much different way. Kentucky author Ann Gabhart has written some novels about the Shakers. I love them all and anything else she writes. Her down home style lures me in within a few pages and I am hooked.

Her book “The Innocent, A Novel” was one of those fabulous books. I was invested within a few pages of reading this 402 page paperback. It was easy to become emotionally invested in Carlyn Kearney and her big dog, Asher, as the author vividly described their life in troubled Kentucky. As I read through the trials and tribulations this post civil war woman endured, I kept thinking that this would make a great movie. I wanted to watch this book! It had history, suspense, romance, mystery, information on the Shaker religion, a good looking sheriff, pretty leading lady, a massive dog, villain, and more. Kentucky always makes a nice setting for a movie, too.

Carlyn’s husband has been gone in the Civil War for a long time with no word. She and her dog are left to take care of their cabin and homestead. They live near the Shaker Village. With twists and turns things happen and she must take shelter there. In this story you will find heroes, villains, mystery, adventure, romance, intrigue, action, and inspiration. Wow! All packed into one book.

The author took this reader to the Shaker Village on a trip that seemed real. I learned about their views on worship, work, meals, and marriage. They certainly have strange ideas on marriage. The story was heavily sprinkled with scripture and a good inspirational message to “just pray”. The characters were well described and relatable. Some became friends and others were downright unlikeable. At points I chuckled and others I teamed up. Best of all were the twists, turns, and surprises.

I expected to like this book since I like Christian historical fiction, but I loved it. The descriptive language, dialogue and colloquialism used by Ann Gabhart made a smooth, enjoyable read. The well researched, well organized, and well written story made a book I could not put down. If you haven’t read anything by this talented author you should give one of her books a try. She has more Shaker novels, some other fiction, and a cozy mystery series. I rated this a 5 out of 5 stars. Anyone who enjoys Christian fiction, historical or romance, even Amish or Quaker will enjoy this book. I highly recommend it.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2

Read a Book Monday: English Lessons by Andrea Lucado

“English Lessons, The Crooked Path of Growing Toward Faith” is a 221 page Christian Living hardcover book by author Andrea Lucado. Before you google her, yes, she is the daughter of minister and author Max Lucado. Author Andrea is a gifted writer like her daddy. Her debut book “English Lessons” attests to that. It was a delight to read and sincerely moved me.

Author Andrea has a really pleasant writing style for me. Her words and sentences flowed seamlessly. I felt like I was playing at church with her or riding in England. She definitely is talented. This book is about her life, but the way she wrote it I felt like I was reading a novel or at least most of the time. It was never boring. Her book is open, honest, humorous, and inspirational. It touches on things most people have thought or questioned at one time or another in their lives. Strong faith, wavering faith, family, friends, being away from home, raised in church, salvation, becoming an adult, purpose and identity, does God exist, truly knowing God are a few things discussed. Have you thought about any of those things? Me, too. The author is a gifted writer. She drew me in quickly, and I was invested in her story, her life. Her love of God shines through her book. The struggles and subjects were real, very real, and relatable.

In “English Lessons” the author discusses going to Oxford to school and writes about her time in England. It obviously made an impact on her. She tells her story transparently. We hear of her triumphs and trials. Even though her father is a well-known minister, it doesn’t mean she is perfect. As she grew up she became a bit rebellious. While she might have changed, God never does. He is always the same, a lesson we all need to retain. God is always there and always the same. We are the ones that change or step away. A quote from her book that has stuck with me is ” Sooner or later we have to say goodbye to that person we were before.” Read the book and think about that.

I would highly recommend this book. Anyone would enjoy it and glean something from it. It is fabulous. The ideal audience would be early adults because that is the author’s age in her memoir. That’s just the ideal age not the target age. Old or new, man or woman, anyone will be inspired and encouraged when reading “English Lessons”. Readers’ faith will be strengthened and moods lightened. Walks will become closer to God. It is that good. It would be perfect for a book club or small group. Just note, it has no discussion questions. I rated it a 5 out of 5 stars. An ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) was provided for my honest review. The opinions in this review are my honest ones.

Revelation 1:8 – “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

The book will be on sale Tuesday, May 2, 2017, but if you preorder before that you will some free items!

Read a Book Monday: A Heat Most Certain is a Most Certain 5+ Stars

Are you looking for a good Christian novel? One that is delightful, thought provoking, entertaining, enlightening, and just plain great. I have one for you. This is not Christian fluff but a hardy serving. It is Book One in a series and Book Two, A Love So True is releasing soon.

“A Heart Most Certain” by author Melissa Jagears is Christian romance novel published by Bethany House. It is the first in her Teaville Moral Society, and I was captivated quickly. It is by far the best one I have read by this author.

Jagears is a genuine storyteller. She has woven and developed a tale that interested me immediately. It didn’t take pages or chapters to get into this book. I was into it immediately. Her main characters are believable and relatable. I found myself trying to mimic some of their movements and gestures myself. Descriptions are not overly long and boring, but enough to put me in the time and place. Conversations flowed effortlessly. I would repeat a line sassily from the book as I tilted my head. The heroine, Lydia King, is a fledgling Christian in a women’s group, The Teaville Moral Society, at her church. This Society marches against the Red Light District in town. They help on their terms for what they deem worthy only. Lydia finds herself assigned the monumental task of obtaining a donation from one of the town’s richest men, Nicholas Lowe. Lydia is promised to Sebastian Little, son of the mayor. While Lydia and Nicholas have a relationship built on getting a contribution from him, sparks begin to fly amidst frustration and irritation. Slowly Lydia begins to learn precious lessons from Nicholas, better ones than she has learned in her moral society. He in turn learns from her. There are many supporting characters. The author uses them effectively.

This book is filled with everything I love in a Christian novel. First and foremost it has great messages. This author clearly knows her Bible and loves God. I love scripture in a novel. The inspiration in the book encouraged me and warmed my heart. Using scripture, biblical stories and parables the author hits us not only on our head to think about these things, but she hits us in our heart where we feel things. My favorite line was “So if a whole lot of nice people can’t keep you in church, then you can’t use a whole lot of bad people to keep you out.”

This book had a great romance. I could smile, blush, or cry with Lydia. I could relate to her. She loved books and to read. Her heart would lead her but others might pull her away from what she knew was right. She was often torn between taking care of family or doing for herself. She was a people pleaser but she was determined.

The men were opposites. There was competition between Sebastian and Nicholas. Sebastian wanted arm candy since it was a campaign year. A Christian pretty wife on his arm would help him win. He liked Lydia despite what his parents thought. Nicholas was hard and guarded until Lydia cracked his shell. He led a secret life and was judged unjustly by his church congregation. No one ever saw him tithe or give to anything. He appreciated Lydia but unjustly judged her also. They taught each other a lot. The author knows how to create tension and purity in her love stories. She is a professional in writing breathtaking kisses.

It had a great plot, adventure, suspense, mystery, drama, inspiration, and even humor. There were historical things I didn’t know. This story was complete, but There is a second book. Jagears is a master at making me laugh “”Though I’m certain I’d have an easier time convincing a turkey to crawl onto our table and stuff itself for Thanksgiving than getting Mr. Lowe to hand me a penny.”

I would highly recommend “A Heart Most Certain” to anyone. It would make a great book club read or women’s study group book. There are discussion questions in the back. It has so much substance in it that readers will want to talk to others about this wonderful book. I rated it a 5 out of 5 stars only because there was no 10! Get ready for book two! A copy of the book was provided by Bethany House for my honest review.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Matt. 7:1-2

Read a Book Monday, “The Women of Easter” by Liz Curtis Higgs

Liz Curtis Higgs is one of my favorite people. Not only is she a gifted author but she sincerely loves people. She has a heart to encourage women and does it flawlessly. I had the honor of hearing her speak a few times and speaking with her myself. Her love for Abba shines clearly through her. Liz is the real deal.

In her book “The Women of Easter – Encounter the Savior with Mary of Bethany, Mary of Nazareth, and Mary Magdalene” she explores three women and how their lives changed because of Jesus. They all happen to be named Mary. Each have a great story.

This small hard cover book is eight chapters long. It begins with a thought provoking introduction “A Season of Grace” and ends with study questions, notes, and information about the author. This is a Lenten book but could be read at any time. It is a book to absorb and revisit. It stayed with me long after I finished it.

I was hooked immediately. It took me zero time to get invested in this inspirational book. That happened on page one. I love the author’s personal style of writing. It’s like a conversation with me. She made the three Marys relatable and I felt what they were feeling. I was sad and then thrilled when I read about Lazarus. I understood the human side of Jesus better through them and His deity. He was God. I laughed at times and teared up just as many. I got angry and could hardly read the words at times. I knew the story about Jesus’s suffering but it always hurt. It always will.

In this book I found a different view of Easter. I read about the women that followed Jesus. This book told how He changed their lives. How they loved and served Him. I wanted to be part of that elite group. I wanted to walk with the Lord, see His miracles, and listen to His stories.

As the words took me closer to the cross, I found myself grower stronger in my faith. Yes, Jesus did not deserve this, and yes, He did this for everyone. Even me. Tears fell from my eyes as I kept reading. I nodded my head when the Roman soldier said “this was certainly God’s Son”. After the tomb was opened and Jesus appeared, I rejoiced! It made me smile, really down deep in my heart, when I read Mary Magdalene was given the great honor of telling the disciples that Jesus was now alive. A woman was given such a great job.

In 193 pages I had become friends with three woman that strengthened my faith. Their stories are remarkable and unforgettable. Jesus is the one that is the heart of thus book. He is the true meaning of Easter. He is life and hope. I wanted to read more, more, more. Liz is so good at what she does. She is a gifted author, encourager, and glorifies our Lord. Don’t miss this uplifting book on three spectacular women of Easter and their Lord Jesus Christ. You will be blessed beyond measure. I rated this a 5 out of 5 stars.

“Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.” Luke 24:24 NIV
