My Thoughts
The Painted Castle by author Kristy Cambron is a page turning, three story, three different century delightful third and final installment in her Lost Castle series. This Christian fiction has romance, mystery, and intrigue. I loved it.
The three time periods are Victorian, WWII, and present day. Each era has a romantic couple and all of the stories weave together flawlessly. Author Cambron is a wordsmith extraordinaire.
I was immediately invested in this book. All three stories are equally well written and riveting. The characters are realistic and believable. Conversations are lively and smooth. The descriptive writing makes it easy to imagine the surroundings.
The story has been well thought, planned, researched, and written. I had not read the other two books and had no trouble following along in this one. However, I will get them because this book is phenomenal.
I highly recommend The Painted Castle for any fiction or art lover. You will be entertained, inspired, and enthralled. I am definitely rating this 5 out of 5 stars. A copy was provided by Celebrate Lit but these are my honest words.
